HISTORY
This Conference is intended to be a continuation in a new
form of our earlier workshops on Intelligent Information Systems which started
in 1992. The workshops turned into regular symposia devoted to such fields as
Machine Learning, Knowledge Discovery, Natural Language Processing, Knowledge
Based Systems and Reasoning, and Soft Computing (i.e. Fuzzy and Rough Sets,
Bayesian Networks, Neural Networks and Evolutionary Algorithms). Proceeedings
of the seven conferences (editions from 2000 to 2006) were published by Springer-Verlag in the
Series on Advances in Soft Computing.
